| „Summer of Music in Ursynów” |

We have the honor to invite you to a performance of the operetta “The Bat” (Die Fledermaus) composed by Johann Strauss II, which will take place on Sunday, August 22, at 6 pm in the neighboring field next to the District Hall in 61 KEN Avenue (Metro Imielin).
Roles played by: Aleksandra Janiszewska, Mieczysław Andrzejak, Tomasz Rak, Szymon Jędruch, Andrzej Orechwy, Maciej Markowski, Piotr Kowalczyk, Iwona Orłowska, Tadeusz Lewandowski, Janusz Skoneczny, Elżbieta Lechańska in cooperation with Choir, Ballet and Orchestra of the Lodz Music Theatre. Master of Ceremonies will be Andrzej Krajewski.
“The Bat” is a very funny story of Gabriel von Eisenstein, who has been sentenced to prison. His friend Dr. Falke had suggested that he should postpone his surrender to the prison authorities till the following day and enjoy a last night of glorious ball. Unaware of anything, he will be seducing his wife in disguise and also pinching the house maid. Typical for the operetta is growing intricacy and one big qui pro quo. That will provide great entertainment for all viewers from first to the last minute.
If the weather would not be good, a play shall take place in the Church of Ascension of Jesus Christ (lower part), in 101 KEN Avenue (in the immediate vicinity of the park).
For the event invites you Ursynów District of the Warsaw City. Admission free. |
